Restoration

From Salish Sea Wiki

Restoration is a kind of Effort whereby people aid in the recovery ecosystem structure, processes and functions. Restoration depends on Funding and Education, coordination with Land Use management of Infrastructure as well as understanding the Socioeconomics that motivate action. Furthermore restoration is strongly shaped by Landform and embraces many topics of Ecology. Many pages and documents are associated with the restoration category. 'Restoration' is used here in the broadest sense, to include all efforts that aim to increase historical ecosystem services.

The following pages provides overviews of different restoration settings:

Restoration Efforts By Region

7 Efforts in South Puget Sound

One Effort in Hood Canal

42 Efforts in Whidbey Basin

One Effort in Admiralty Inlet

5 Efforts in Fraser Lowlands
