Between 2014 and 2020, Ecology with funding from the National Estuary Program developed and implemented a persistent and targeted restoration effort focused on riparian buffers in agricultural landscapes in Puget Sound. This resulted in distribution of funding to eight focus areas to determine if persistent flexible funding could increase the rate of riparian land restoration.
