The Skagit Intensively Monitored Watershed is part of a multi-state effort funded by Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB), OWEB, and Bonnevile Power Administration (?) to detect the effects of restoration on salmon populations. The Skagit work is the only estuarine project. Skagit fish use monitoring has supported hypothesis development about chinook dependence on estuary rearing.
Notes
- File:Greene & Beamer 2005.pdf describes the fundemental hypotheses about chinook dependence on estuary rearing.
