The Skagit Climate Science Consortium is working to understand the climate-related changes occurring in the Skagit basin, the range of changes possible in the future, and how predicted changes relate to the health and well-being of the Skagit community and ecosystem.
The Consortium members seek to work in partnership with the Skagit community to both ensure their climate research is integrated closely with the concerns and needs of the community and that their research is available and relevant for use by public and private decision-makers.
As a multidisciplinary scientific community, the Skagit Climate Science Consortium members are also interested in collaborating and connecting with other climate scientists seeking to conduct research or integrate scientific findings at the landscape scale.
