The Puget Sound Watershed Leads are parties responsible for the drafting, implementation and management of the Puget Sound Chinook Recovery Plan, and are a key part of the Salmon Recovery infrastructure.
Watershed Leads are often the same individuals as the Lead Entity Coordinators. However, watershed leads are based on Chinook sub-populations, whereas lead entities are defined by legislation as relating to Water Resource Inventory Areas (WRIAs).
