The office of the governor contains critical policy and executive functions that support the Governor, the executive of the State of Washington

Notes

  • Office of Fiscal Management (OFM) - supports with executive budget development and analysis.
  • The Office of Regulatory Innovation and Assistance (ORIA) - initiated by Gov. Gregoire, clarifies and works with citizens to navigate and improve the state regulatory system. A staff of 10 in 2017 managed a website, responds to requests for support, and develops special projects.
  • Results Washington - developed by Gov. Inslee, creates goals and key indicators for the State of Washington, which are reviewed by the Governor and Goal Councils made of state agency executives.
