This page summarizes the new user experience and sequence.

1. Create Account Page - following a link or a button, the user arrives at the Create Account Page
   • mediawiki:signupstart - introduces the procedure at the top of the form.
   • mediawiki:createacct-realname indicates that real names are not optional
   • mediawiki:createacct-another-realname-tip is text following the real name field
   • mediawiki:questycaptcha-createaccount justifies the CAPTCHA question
2. Account Created Message - after submitting the form, you are dumped to a message page
   • mediawiki:welcomecreation is the title of the welcome message
   • mediawiki:Welcomecreation-msg is the message you get that reminds you to check you inbox and contact a moderator.
3. Email Confirmation - after the form is submitted the new user gets an email form salishsearestoration@gmail.com notifying that their email was used, and offering a link for email confirmation.
   • mediawiki:confirmemail_subject is the subject of the email.
   • mediawiki:confirmemail_body explains the need to contact the moderator on duty, inserting the email stored at Template:moderator on duty email
   • mediawiki:confirmemail is the title of the page where the new user first lands after confirming email
   • mediawiki:confirmemail_loggedin is the text they get when they return to the site. They will be logged in.
4. Administrator Notification - simultaneously an assigned administrator receives notification that a new account was created.
5. Welcome Message - The wiki platform can automatically create a message on the user discussion page using Template:welcome
