- Not to be confused with Pilchuck River Watershed in the Snohomish
- Leonetti 2015 suggests that summer flows and thus stream temperature is strongly driven by groundwater seepage into the stream, and so using wood to create scour pools, and managing watershed groundwater recharge were important parts of management
