Traditional Ecological Knowledge is part of a constellation of terms used to describe sources of knowledge or wisdom about land stewardship that come through cultural pathways other than quantitative scientific methods.

It sure would be great to start organizing ideas around TEK, Indigenous Science, Indigenous Ecological Knowledge, Traditional Scientific Knowledge, or other systems of knowledge that come from long-term or intergenerational interaction with specific locations, encoded in practice, tradition, and story.
