Open Space Technology is an approach to meeting design and facilitation, that activates and depends on the self-organizing capabilities of groups, when they are assembled with some common cause. It requires almost no planning, and encourages the formation of interest groups around specific proposals. It removes centralized control of the agenda, and instead cultivates and rewards natural leadership.
