  • Hiss 1994 completed a beach seine study in Dungeness Bay in 1992 and 1993.
  • 90% of the shoreline between Morse Creek and the Elwha River has been armored.
  • Construction of a waterfront trail east from Port Angeles Harbor on the old railroad grade left extensive armoring intact.
