The Dungeness River is one of the major watershed of Puget Sound, flowing into the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the Olympic Peninsula. Because of its location in the Olympic Rainshadow, Water Management is a key issue, with significant diversion of water for Agriculture. It is most strongly in the usual and accustomed area of the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, and is located in Clallam County just west of the City of Sequim.
