Workgroups are people who work together to achieve shared goals. This includes large institutions, small organization, and loose communities from governmental to non-governmental. Workgroup pages might contain information about a workgroups efforts, but as an effort starts producing useful information is should develop its own effort page. A particular product of a workgroup effort that is easy for another to use becomes a resource. Workgroups that develop a large presence on the wiki might develop an acronym category to flag pages that it is associated with.

Here are some useful things it might be nice to know about workgroups:

  • What is the source of their funding (and for GOV their authorities).
  • How many people involved in each workgroup.
  • What is the area they work in, and links back to significant efforts.
