In 2021 group of colleagues from the Skagit including SRSC Skagit Watershed Council and Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group obtained a SRFB grant. With a limited web presence, they attracted 180 individuals across Puget Sound that wanted to learn and teach and discuss riparian restoration, with a focus on revegetation of plan communities.
