Maulsby Marsh is a 23 acre mudflat and marsh separated from the Snohomish River mouth by West Marine View Dr. (a state highway) and BNSF lines. They are connected by a single 36 inch culvert. Restoration actions include enhancing the connection / removing the fish barrier to provide fish access. Potential actions include bridging, increasing the size of the culvert, and providing a second connection. Restoration actions are pending ongoing toxics testing.
