Fisher slough is a freshwater tidal dike setback on the South Fork Skagit Delta. The Nature Conservancy of Washington is leading restoration of a 60 acre freshwater tidal wetland on the Skagit Delta distributary Fisher Slough at the confluence of Carpenter Creek and Big Ditch. NOAA Restoration Center allowed for the reconfiguration of Big Ditch and levee setback with an award of ARRA funds. SRSC is supporting monitoring.
