J. Hall, T. Beechie, G. Pess. 2014. Influence of climate and land cover of river discharge in the North Fork Stillaguamish River. Prepared for the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians by the Northwest Fisheries Science Center, NOAA Fisheries, Seattle, Washington. 41pp.

Notes

  • Increasing peak flows correlate most strongly with climate trends toward reduced snow pack and increasing precipitation events.
  • The drivers of low flow trends were more difficult to discern, with influence from both climate oscillation and land use activities.
