Aldrich, B. & P. DeVries. 2015. Flood fencing: reconnecting floodplains and riparian areas. personal communications.
Notes[edit]
- Bob Aldrich is a retired river projects manager with Snohomish County. Together with Paul DeVries he pioneered low cost methods for increasing channel roughness to affect sediment deposition for the purpose of modifying patterns of bar formation to guide river evolution. Installation of the Skykomish Braided Reach Project was the example of this strategy.
