Categories
Each page can be categorized so it is easier to find. Each category has its own page that shows all pages within that category. Categories are also categorized into a hierarchy of categories. You can use categories to generate automatic lists of pages using Dynamic Page Lists. We are Developing a more intuitive approach to categorization using check boxes in the edit form.
How do I categorize a page?
To categorize, use the "Edit Source" link at the top of each page. Then add [[category:name]] to the top of the page content. Capitalize appropriately! When the page is saved the code becomes invisible, and the categories show as hyperlinks in the page footer. Here is a list of all categories currently used on the Wiki:

Different Page Types suggest different categorizations to answer a set of questions: where, by whom, for what purpose, with what kind of product, in what jurisdication, about what topics, and at what scale, are typical questions answered by a set of categories.
